Muscle Release Therapy (“MRT”)

Muscle Release Therapy is a hands-on approach that involves physically shortening and extending the muscle over its full range of motion. It's a fantastic and highly effective treatment for sprains and strains, persistent injuries, muscular soreness, and joint stiffness.

Spinal Adjustment (Manipulation)

Manipulation of the spine and extremities is a safe and effective method of reducing pain and improving mobility. It entails applying manual pressure to a specific joint in the body, to improve fluidity and movement while also delivering significant relief. Treatment for neck, upper back, lower back, shoulder, hip, and foot pain with spinal adjustment is common.

Activator Technique

The activator is a compact spring-loaded hand-held device commonly used in chiropractic to send a moderate impulse into a specific joint in the body to restore movement and improve function. It is a great alternative to manual manipulation especially in the elderly and pregnant population along with those who are hesitant receiving a spinal adjustment. Smaller joints such as the hands, wrist and feet are commonly treated.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a massage method that involves using a specially designed instrument to help diagnose and treat pain, muscle adhesion, dysfunction, scar tissue and soft tissue constraints. Most muscular and soft tissue injuries, particularly those associated with sports, respond well to this method.

Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT)

The McKenzie Method is a widely recognized evaluation and treatment method for back pain, sciatica, disc herniations and neck pain. It's a self-guided home workout program that uses repetitive movements to aid discomfort, dysfunction, and sciatica-like symptoms.

Manual Traction

Manual traction is a gentle alternative to lower back adjustments which allows lower back movement without manipulation. It entails stretching the joints, muscles, and spine to relieve lower back pain and sciatica-like symptoms down the legs. For patients with osteoarthritis, disc herniations, or sciatica, this is a wonderful method.

Therapeutic Modalities

Physiotherapy modalities such as electrotherapeutics (IFC, TENS), Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) and others aim to reduce pain and improve healing.

Rehab & Exercise

Your chiropractor will suggest therapeutic exercise and rehab depending on your examination findings and diagnosis. Patients' exercise prescriptions are tailored to their unique needs and objectives. Stretching, strengthening, and balance exercises, as well as proprioception exercises, sports-specific workouts, and movement patterns, are all examples of this.

Functional Movement Assessment

Functional Movement Assessment is a thorough examination that places patients in various movement paths to uncover muscle weakness, balance difficulties, and overworked muscles in order to improve mobility, stability and sports performance.

Kinesio Taping

Different from traditional sports taping, kinesio taping is a fantastic technique to treat a range of ailments. It can be used to help an injured muscle, tendon or ligament function better without limiting movement or blood flow to the taped area. It is frequently used to treat a variety of knee problems, ankle sprains, tendonitis, shoulder pain, and bruising, among other things. It is a painless, safe, and effective treatment option for all athletes and people, and it is widely used in professional sports.
